Terms of Service

The service

SignUparoo lets people create events, publish shifts, invite volunteers, manage teams, and track staffing. Volunteers may sign up for events and join invited teams at no charge. Creating more events or teams may require a paid organizer plan, as shown on the pricing page.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old. You need a verified email address to sign in.

We may disable accounts that violate these Terms, appear compromised, or pose a risk to the service or other users.

Your content and events

You retain rights to the event, team, and profile content you submit. You grant us a license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate SignUparoo.

You are responsible for the events you organize, including who you invite and how you use volunteer information. Do not post content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes others’ rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Probe, scrape, or disrupt the service, or try to access other people’s accounts or data.
• Use SignUparoo to spam, harass, or send bulk unsolicited invitations unrelated to a genuine event.
• Upload malware or content we reasonably find abusive or illegal.
• Resell or misuse the product in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Paid plans and billing

Paid organizer plans are billed through Stripe. Prices, event limits, custom volunteer questions, and team features are described on the website and may change for future terms.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Unless required by law, fees are not refunded for unused time. If you change or cancel a plan, we may apply unused time as Stripe customer credit or, in some cases, a refund processed by an administrator.

You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. Taxes may apply. Failed payments can cause your plan to drop to Free; we may notify you if that happens.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep SignUparoo available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features, limits, or these Terms. If we discontinue the service, we will try to give reasonable notice using the email on your account.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that events will be fully staffed or that volunteer information is always accurate.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, SignUparoo, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify SignUparoo, LLC against claims arising from your content, your events, or your misuse of the service, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Montana will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
